Welcome to Ed White

Welcome to Ed White Middle School, home of the Eagles. Middle school is a time of discovery, and at Ed White, students are encouraged to explore who they are, what interests them, and what they are capable of achieving.

Our campus combines high expectations with meaningful relationships and opportunities for students to take an active role in their education. Through academics, technology, fine arts, athletics, leadership, clubs, and other experiences, Eagles are challenged to think critically, try new things, and develop the confidence to take ownership of their learning.

What Makes Ed White Special

Design & Technology Academy

Ed White is home to the Design and Technology Academy (DATA), an NEISD magnet program for students interested in technology and creative problem-solving. Through opportunities in areas such as computer coding, programming, and information technology, DATA students begin developing skills and exploring interests that can continue into high school and beyond.

We believe students should be active participants in their education. Eagles are encouraged to ask questions, take academic risks, make choices, and take greater ownership of their progress through authentic learning experiences designed to challenge their thinking and spark their interests.

Find Your Place

Middle school is the perfect time to try something new. Students can build friendships and discover their strengths through Fine Arts, Athletics, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL events, and other clubs, programs, and organizations.

At Ed White, relationships matter. Our educators believe every student can learn, although students may learn in different ways and at different rates. By creating a safe and respectful environment while maintaining high expectations, we support students academically, socially, and emotionally as they navigate these important middle school years.
