The Title IX Coordinator/Campus Behavior Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining student discipline and the implementation of this subchapter and for responding to all complaints of possible sex discrimination and coordinating proper responses to complaints.

Mrs. Carla Alvarez, Assistant Principal
Carla Alvarez is beginning her 35th year in education, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting student success. She earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M International University and has proudly served the Ed White Middle School community for the past nine years, first as the Academic Dean and now as an Assistant Principal. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment, building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and promoting academic excellence.
Fun Fact: Before becoming a campus administrator, AP Alvarez spent 11 years as a math teacher at an alternative school, where she developed a passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
